Goodman Community Center tickets & upcoming events

Looking for a spot that’s got history, community vibes, and a little bit of everything? The Goodman Community Center in Madison, Wisconsin, is just that. Since opening its doors, it’s been a hub for local culture and activities. Back in 2009, they kicked off a young people's empowerment project, which still supports tons of youth each year, think arts, mentorship, and community events. The outdoor amphitheater, added in june 2010, is a real gem, I mean, who doesn't love catching a free concert by the local symphony under the summer sky? It drew a pretty big crowd that night, and honestly, it’s a perfect spot for summer hangouts. Fast forward to 2017, and they hit a big milestone, over a thousand activities organized since day one. That’s a lot of fun, classes, and community bonding. The venue itself has some neat features, like a separate balcony entrance that leads straight to the seating area, making it super convenient. The general admission zone is usually fitted with noise-dampening materials, which is a nice touch if you’re trying to focus or just avoid a ringing in your ears. If you're navigating from the city outskirts, just head downtown, then east on Third Street. Coming from the campus? Easy, go east on University Road and turn left onto Eighth Avenue. Planning to attend a show? The ticketing page gets updated regularly with the latest events, and the seating chart is pretty handy, whether you’re aiming for front-row Chizu Con seats, the swanky VIP sections, or just looking for a budget-friendly spot to catch the action. Honestly, there’s always something happening at Goodman, so don’t miss out on the chance to see fantastic performances right in the heart of Madison.
